Jack Murphy - RIP - Funeral details

By Miriam Brown

Our deepest sympathy goes to Jack’s wife & family.

Jack’s funeral will take place on
Friday 19th July at 12:30 at St Raphael’s Church, Portsmouth Road, Kingston
KT2 2NA and afterwards at Hazelwood.

Jack was part of a Wanderers side, managed by Bart O'Connell and Captained
by myself and Eamonn Flannery, from 1985 until 1988. Not only was he the
cornerstone of the team, but was our father figure, as we were all young
fellas and Jack was a few years older and kept us on the straight and
narrow. He was a London Irish man to the core. I have always held him in
great esteem, was proud to have him as a friend and team mate, I was so
pleased to be able to have spent time with him over the last few weeks.
God bless and RIP big man.
