Taking place at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford on Saturday 1st
November, the Barbarians are set to lock horns with the All Blacks XV for only
the second time, with the BaaBaas having edged an exhilarating contest 35-31
when the sides last met in 2022.
With grateful thanks to the London Irish Foundation, our Under 13s will
be providing the Guard of Honour for the match as a reward for their attitude
and upholding the rugby values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship, and in particular for the respect shown to the people and facilities at
Hazelwood by following in the footsteps of the Canadian Women’s World Cup
finalists by ensuring that their changing rooms were left spotless after use.
This is a huge honour for our boys, and we are incredibly proud that
they have been selected to be a part of this high-profile fixture featuring some
of the world’s leading players.
With the Barbarians renowned for their attacking style and the
opportunity to see the world-famous Haka first hand, this will surely be a game
not to be missed.
We are delighted to confirm that London Irish members have been offered
a discount on tickets which can be accessed here:
