We are sorry to inform you of the passing of Bernadette “Bernie” Killeen. Bernie died on 22 August aged 87. She and her husband Eamonn were very popular and efficient stewards at the bar at the Avenue ground for about 9 years from 1977.

They were ably assisted by the children Andy, Anita and Nicola. Andy subsequently played for underage, adult and veteran LI teams and his sons Matt and Seanie in turn played for LI teams.
