The club is thrilled to announce the victory of our player, Killian Burns, in the US College National Rugby Championship. Representing Notre Dame College in Cleveland, Killian played a key role in their 33-10 triumph over St. Bonaventure University of New York in the National Championship Final at SabreCat Stadium in Houston, Texas on Dec 9th.
Ending the season as Notre Dame College's top try scorer and the second-highest point scorer, Killian contributed significantly to the team's first national championship win since 2017.
Killian's journey with rugby began at London Irish Amateur RFC as a 5-year-old mini, progressing through to Colts and emerging from our Wolfhounds Academy. After completing his A Levels at St. Richard Reynolds College in Twickenham, he pursued a rugby scholarship in the US in 2021. Even during Christmas breaks, Killian continues to play for the London Irish Amateurs Wolfhounds, proudly displaying the club name stitched onto his game boots.
The entire club extends heartfelt congratulations to Killian and wishes him continued success in his future endeavours!
