Focus: First Aid

First Aid – Physical

First Aid cover is a vital part of the support mechanism around the game of rugby, we are fortunate to have an onsite physio available Sunday morning for the minis and youth, but it is also essential we have pitch side coverage for games and training at all levels. There are never too many first aiders in the game. We are looking to further increase the coverage we have of first aiders, if you can help please talk to myself or your age group lead, a sensible split of coaches and other volunteers would be good.

First Aid - Mental

Mental health first aid support is becoming as vital as Physical in sport and we are looking at increasing a few individuals and coach’s awareness.

Sport can be a good for supporting mental health, identifying and talking earlier can be a good preventative measure.

Watch this space – if you support or can help please get in touch.
