London Irish Wild Geese can today announce the signing of full back Jordan Gott from Plymouth Albion.

Gott, a former London Irish AASE member is currently serving with the Royal Navy returns to Hazelwood, joining up with several of his former school mates.

Director of Rugby, Eddie Fraher said “We’re very happy to sign Jordan, he has National League 1 experience in Cornwall and is a fantastic addition to our squad.

He has impressed the coaching team with his contributions so far and has slotted in really well since he arrived. He will bring a wealth of experience and some real attacking threat to our back line”.

Jordan said “Excited to be back!

I loved my time previously with the Geese, it’s always been a very welcoming club with a really strong team ethos.

The club are very supportive with my Navy training which I’m currently going through which has been a huge help.

I think with the coaches, staff and the squad we have, we’ll do really well this season”.

The Wild Geese take on Henley Hawks at Dry Leas on Saturday.

Head Coach, John Lacey said “Henley will be a really tough test for the boys. We struggled against them last year, they were pushing the promotion places all year and have recruited well.

We’ve discussed what we want from this game and the rest of our preseason tests.

We can’t wait to see if we can cause them some problems”.

Kick off at Dry Leas (RG9 2JA) on Saturday is at 3:00pm
