London Irish Wild Geese vs Guildford

Congratulations to both the Geese and Wanderers for good wins for the first homes leagues games of the season.

For the first Wild Geese home game of the season, the u10s were out in force for the guard of honour – 16 boys and girls greeted the teams out onto the pitch. Sean Cunningham, Wild Geese vice-captain and captain on the day lead the team out.

The u10s warmed up before the game with some passing drills and took to the main pitch at half time to entertain the spectators with a game of touch. The u10s supported the ball boys from the u16s during the game and enjoyed well earned food and drink back in the main club.

Ball Boys Half-Time Kicking Competition

The u16’s provided the ball boys for first Geese game of the season, starting off the half time kicking competition. The competition will run up to Christmas, where the first win will be announced. After round one with 3 kicks from the 20 yard line (at differing angles) and kick of choice for distance the current top 3 on the leader board are:

 Ben Holmes - u16’s
 George Brown - u16’s (Joint 2nd)
 George Holmes - u16’s (Joint 2nd)

U10s had a great game of touch out on the 1st XV pitch during half-time. Showing the handling skills off the Wild Geese spectators.

Scott Moore Geese Captain and Sean Cunningham Vice Captain Thank the boys for their support and commitment.

Next home game is Saturday, 28th Sept vs Brighton - 3pm Kick Off
