Hooker, Townsend re-signs for 2019/20

Former Ealing Trailfinders and Richmond Hooker, Richard Townsend has today committed to a second season with the Wild Geese.

Director of Rugby, Eddie Fraher said “Ritchie was a regular fixture in last season’s National League 2 South campaign and will bring plenty of experience to the pack for the coming campaign. We’re really pleased he will remain at Hazlewood and help push performances forward”.

On re-signing, Richard added “ “I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into my 2nd season with the Geese and seeing how far the team Eddie and John have put together can go. It feels like an exciting time for the Club and I’m delighted to be a part of it!"
