On International Women’s Day, Sunday 8th March, London Irish Amateur RFC will celebrate the achievements of women and girls in our rugby club, reassert its commitment to creating opportunities for women and girls at every level of the game, promote diversity ensuring that the sport is accessible to women and girls of all ages and backgrounds.

Prior to the Emeralds league fixture against Henley Women which will kick-off 1:00pm the girl players from Mini and Youth rugby will participate in a coaching session with some of the senior Emerald players.

The Mini and Youth girl players will form a guard of honour to welcome the Emeralds and Henley on to the pitch and during the match the Youth girl players will perform ball girl duties. Everyone is then welcome to partake in the post-match lunch.
