London Irish Amateur Mini Section and U12 would sincerely like to thank all those who volunteered to assist with parking for our recent International Mini & Under 12 Festival of Rugby.
Parking is the largest challenge the Festival organisers face and is key to protecting our neighbours from localised traffic. With over 3000 attendees, getting people parked and to their allotted pitches is a significant logistical challenge. This year over the course of the weekend we parked just under 700 cars and 18 buses across three separate locations.
Over the last 3 years the festival has faced significant inflation in costs which has required changes to the infrastructure including parking, most noticeably leaving Kempton Park Racecourse and the park and ride facility.
Therefore we would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the individuals who helped to facilitate this years parking:
St Paul's Catholic College (The Ridings) - Aldene Geiling, Alex Latter, Dan Murrey, Rob Allsford, Nicole, Gary Scott & Douglas Scott.
St Paul's Catholic College (Manor Road) - Lorraine Caley, Jack Teetham, Tom Teetham & Michael Eade
Hazelwood (Sunday) - Nathalie Warren, Lee Ann, Alex Wiffen, Matt Thomas, Olivia Rybinski, Brendan Masterson, David Harris, Gerry Gallagher, Emma Pike, Gavin Wheeler & Des?
Hazelwood (Saturday) - Martin Parr, Andy Hallam, Ed Ford, Joe Hack Davis, Sarah Price, Will Metcalf, Susan Espi, James Groves, Hestar Richardson, Melaine & Billy Rose
A special thanks to Nathalie Warren who co-ordinated and managed the parking in our first year having left Kempton Park.
London Irish Amateur Rugby Football Club is a voluntary organisation which can only function utilizing the time given up by our members to support all its functions, for which we are very grateful.
