On 7th June, which was another fantastic day weather-wise, we held another highly successive annual Amateur Club golf day. Our president Bart O’Connell presented The Wild Geese Trophy to the winning “Aardvarks” team, led by Ulick Burke and Brian Kirwan. With a great score of 93 points they beat the Arcs Energy Limited Team led by Joe Hanberry who had 91 points. The Ground Construction Team led by Trevor Diviney came third. Kieran Wall (Tide Construction) won nearest the pin and Dillon West (Arcs Energy) had the longest drive.

We are very grateful to to Walton Heath Golf Club for their continued support of our annual golf day and to everyone at the club who make us feel so welcome. We also thank all our team captains and guests and of course our auction prize winners who were relieved of their funds by our auctioneer, Mike Gibson. All in all, a great day for all the golfers and for the club.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for next year’s event on 5th June 2024.
