- Paul Craig U16 Head Coach

On Sat 22nd April 09:30 our Under 16s will defend their ‘Surrey Champions’ title at the Twickenham Stoop in the ‘Quins Cup’ final.

LIARFC Under 16s are unbeaten in the competition this year and won their group beating Guilford, Wimbledon and Reeds Weybridge. They then beat a strong Cobham team in the semi final.

Most of this talented group of players started playing at LIARFC as ‘minis’ and we look to following them as they progress their rugby careers in the future.

Head Coach Paul Craig noted "As Head Coach to see the progress and development of the boys over the years has been nothing short of phenomenal. We have been fortunate to have a wealth of talent.

As coaches from minis we installed the core values of rugby teamwork, Respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship. We firmly believe in the TREDS value system and that the values will stand the boys in good stead as they mature into adults and through their life.

The coaches are proud of all the players and wish them well not only for the big day in their final game of youth rugby but also on their journey through their rugby careers as they represent London Irish now and possibly even greater honours in the future on the international stage.

Our favourite core value is Enjoyment. Enjoy the final, enjoy playing at The Stoop, enjoy the rugby and most importantly enjoy your friendships and treasure the moment."

London Irish Amateur Rugby Football Club would like to thank the coaching team, first aiders and parents for their dedication and support. We are extremely proud of you and all your achievements.

Please come along and support the boys and make it a day to remember.

This match will be live streamed on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vy-CS0Bk9Uc.

Please note entry is free however their will be no parking at The Stoop – reserved for the BIG game at Twickenham in the afternoon.
