London Irish Amateurs are delighted to welcome Jockey Club Córdoba Rugby to Hazelwood for a very special fixture, as the distinguished Argentinian club brings their tour to a close here in Sunbury.

Travelling in conjunction with Argentina’s national side during the Quilter Nations Series 2025, Jockey Club Córdoba have followed the Pumas’ journey through the Home Nations—visiting Wales, then Scotland, and now finishing their travels here in England. Having them choose London Irish as their final stop is a tremendous honour for our club.

On Tuesday 25 November, the visitors from Córdoba will take on the London Irish Wild Geese in a Mid-Season Friendly, kicking off at 7:30pm on Pitch 1 under the Hazelwood floodlights. The bar will be open from 6pm until close, making it a perfect evening for supporters to come down early, enjoy a drink, and soak up the atmosphere.

This fixture is more than just a match—it’s a celebration of rugby culture, international friendship, and the shared values that unite clubs across the world. Hosting a club of Jockey Club Córdoba’s heritage and passion is a privilege for everyone involved at London Irish, and we look forward to giving them a warm welcome and a memorable finale to their tour.
