London Irish Through and Through

The Wild Geese have retained the services of club youth product, Ryan Byfield.

Director of Rugby, Eddie Fraher commented “Players like Ryan are what make this place special. He played here as a lad and was involved with the Pro Academy system for a number of years. He’s stayed a part of the club into his adult years.

We’re very proud that we can provide this kind of rugby career profile, we believe it’s our point of difference”.

Ryan said “I am delighted to have re-signed for my childhood club - London Irish Wild Geese. This club has given me so much over the years and means a lot to myself and my family.

I am very excited by the opportunity of working with John Lacey again and believe he is the right person to take our club forward long term.

It's fantastic to see so many core players commit their future to the club after a difficult season. I have been impressed with the recruitment and am really excited to see what the new signings and coaching staff bring to table”.
