This weekend sees the Geese take on 9th place Salisbury as they aim to continue their perfect start to the season. So far the Irish side have secured 15 points from their first three games while Salisbury are looking to get their second win having beaten Chichester in the opening round 19-17 and fallen to Tottonians and Guildford in rounds 2 and 3.
Last season Salisbury finished 7th of 12 in Regional 2 South Central winning 9 and losing 13. The Geese will be travelling south with the hopes of getting the better of a Salisbury side who haven't scored more than 26 points in a game this year while we haven't conceded less than 28. If we can iron out a few wrinkles in defence and keep the scores coming, it'll hopefully be another 5 point win for the Wild Geese.
However, with a number of Geese players absent this weekend, there is a massive opportunity for those selected to step up and put their name on a jersey for the 125th anniversary game at the end of the month. It's sure to be a cracking game.
