Michael was a staunch London Irish supporter all his life and maintained a strong interest in the club. He played in the club in the 1970's on the social sides including the Nomads.
Despite working overseas Michael never lost his interest in the club and as a Partner in Clyde and Co lawyers he provided generous sponsorship to the club. Additionally, he brought up to six players to play in the Wild Geese including Stephen Sexton former Chairman.

Michael maintained his Irish or should I say his Kerry links also and was a regular visitor to the Kingdom.

On behalf of the club our sincere condolences to Margaret and his family may he rest in peace.

His Funeral Mass will take place at 1pm on Tuesday 24th March, St Joseph's Catholic Church, Guildford.

A private cremation will take place after mass.

After the Funeral Mass, the family invite you to join them from 3-6pm at Worplesdon Place Hotel, GU3 3RY to gather in rememberance of Michael.

Those attending are warmly invited to wear a touch of green, if they wish, in memory of Michael and in honour of his deep love for Ireland.
