The club was buzzing as the Wild Geese took on Aylesbury in the league, with new and familiar faces alike enjoying the pre game lunch.

The Minis also turned out to cheer the team on, with a flag waving Guard of Honour – the kids were very enthusiastic supporters! The Geese, led by Head Coach Callum Lecky and Captain Harry Roffey, turned on the style, scoring 60 points and playing a great brand of rugby – the pre season training clearly paying dividends already!

Equally good to see was the way the players engaged with the children, happy to take team photos before and after the game and have a chat and a laugh with them all, perfectly exemplifying the great community club that we are.

No doubt there will be more great days like this at Hazelwood as the season continues!
