‘ Ray Diver, a lifelong supporter of London Irish, passed away peacefully on August 14th, aged 81. Many of you will know that despite living in Cheshire & Solihull for most of his adult life, he was a regular visitor to The Avenue, Stoop, Reading & Hazelwood, nearly always travelling by public transport. Sadly he didn’t make it to Brentford. He would also try to follow his beloved London Irish to many away fixtures over many years.

He was renowned for his fundraising, particularly the 6 Nations forecast competition in recent years, & many solicitors, bank staff & rugby followers in the West Midlands were persuaded to hand over some funds, particularly as they knew he would not leave the premises empty handed.

His daughter Fiona & son in law Mark would like to welcome all to attend one or both services & light refreshments on Friday 15th September 2023.
