ST PATRICK'S DAY PARADE - MARCH WITH CAPTAIN RORY HARRISON

Sunday 13th of March, walk with Rory Harrison and represent your club in the St Patrick's Day parade London.

London Irish Wild Geese Captain Rory Harrison will carry the club flag at this years St Patrick's Day Parade starting at the corner of Brick Street and Piccadilly (opposite Green Park) for 11:30am.

Rory is very passionate about the club both on and off the field and sees this as a great opportunity to show the capital we are the best destination for players and fans of rugby in London and the South East.

He has asked that players, members, parents and friends of all ages and genders who can make it to the corner of Brick Street and Piccadilly (between Green Park Station and Hyde Park Corner) next Sunday the 13th of March for 11:30am to walk with him along the parade route down to Trafalgar Square. We acknowledge a number of teams are playing on the day of the parade.

This is open to everybody and we simply ask that you wear your club colours such as playing shirts, hoodies, jackets and ties. This includes family members and friends. We ask all children under 16 are escorted by a parent or guardian.

What do I need? Please dress for the weather with your London Irish Amateur kit over coats and jackets, so the crowds can see our colours. Bring a small back pack with water and a snack.

Where do we meet? We meet on the corner of Brick Street and Piccidilly ( 105 Piccadilly, London W1J 7NJ ) at 11:30. We will form up on Brick Street behind Kilburn Gaels Junior Hurling.

Where are the nearest Public Toilets? Green Park Toilets

What time does the parade start? The Parade officially starts at 12:00. We are in section C (see Parade Order).

What's the route? The route is Piccadilly - Piccadilly Circus - Regent Street St James’s - Waterloo Place - Pall Mall - Cockspur St - Whitehall. We will disperse on Whitehall Place

How long will it take to walk the route? It is estimated to take 1.5 to 2 hours.

What if I or one of my party need the toilet or duck out? There are no barriers on the straight sections of the route, so you can duck out and find a toilet in a cafe or hotel.

What else do I need to do? Smile, wave and soak up the atmosphere of a unique occasion for you and your children.

Finally all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
