Tom’s inherent love of rugby and passion for the sport was nurtured in Cork which he always referred to as “home” and when work took him to Africa, he continued to play the game at a high level.

Upon returning from Africa, Tom joined the illustrious Bs at London Irish as a prop forward and was awarded his honours tie in the 1989/1990 season. He was very popular amongst his peers and a regular attendee at the annual London Irish past players’ lunches at Sunbury and Hazelwood.

We send our sincere condolences to his wife Kathy.
