Since our first session back in September, the group has grown not just in numbers, but in confidence, ability and team spirit. Our Under 6s (Click here) proudly took part in the International Mini and U12 Festival 2026, playing up in the Under 7s category, and did themselves, their parents and the club proud. The coaching team couldn't be more pleased with their performance and positive attitude throughout.

This season hasn’t just been about firsts for the children. Several parents also took the brave step of crossing the whitewash, some eagerly, others with a little friendly persuasion, to become part of the coaching and management team. Despite the occasional chaotic Sunday morning, we all agree there’s a huge sense of pride in what’s been built together.

In the Under 6's Head Coach Brian Murphy and Team Manager Rachel Nolloth-Lewis would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Mo Amedewonu, Lucas Betes, Dave Lewis, James Pengelly-Marshall and Nello Petrioli.

In the Under 5's Head Coach Darren Barber and Team Manager Paul O'Callaghan would like to thank David Dullaghan, Steve Morris, Marc Sutton Edwards, Paddy Waplington and Andi Zhobe.

All have shown incredible focus, energy and commitment to their teams. As many professional players will tell you, their rugby journey started with the support of mums, dads and volunteers just like you.

Darren noted “As the under 5’s started their rugby journey this season, we hope like us, you have seen your children develop on the pitch since September-building a love for the game, forming basic rugby skills, and thriving in an engaging, fun and diverse team environment. We can’t wait to take them up to under 6’s in September, where we look forward to welcoming new and existing players for another amazing season at London Irish”

As we take a well earned summer break, we’re already looking ahead. We are now actively recruiting for our Under 5 (Click here), 6 (Click here) and 7 squads (Click here) for the 2025/26 season, welcoming boys and girls who will be entering Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 in September.
