The girls tackled hard, supported each other, showed real grit and determination, and crossed the line for some fantastic tries.

But what makes us especially proud is the spirit these girls showed both on and off the pitch.

They stepped up to help other teams who were short on players, proving that rugby is about so much more than the result. It’s about teamwork, respect, friendship and making sure everyone gets the chance to play.

A brilliant day of rugby, plenty of smiles and so much to be proud of. Well done, girls – you were absolutely amazing!
