I began playing rugby at university in Loughborough after nearly a decade competing in trampolining. Craving the camaraderie and challenge of a team sport, I one day walked past the rugby pitches and—despite having no prior experience or knowledge of the game—decided to give it a go. Watching the 2014 Women’s Rugby World Cup on YouTube completely hooked me, and from that moment, my passion for rugby was born.
While studying at Loughborough, I started to pursue the sport more seriously, balancing training with my academic commitments. After graduating, I joined Teddington RFC and trained concurrently with Wasps RFC under a dual schedule, representing Middlesex County for one season. Looking for fresh challenges and a new environment, I moved to London Irish, where I’m now entering my fifth season with the club.
Alongside my rugby journey, I completed a master’s degree and now work in the medical field within female youth rugby. This role allows me to support the next generation of players and contribute to the sport beyond the pitch. I’ve also stayed connected to my roots in trampolining through coaching, bringing full circle the discipline and movement skills that first shaped me as an athlete from the age of 10.
