Meet Madysin Brewer, a passionate athlete and determined competitor, currently playing for the London Irish Emeralds. Originally from Kelowna, BC, Canada. Mady’s journey into rugby may have started later than most, but her sporting background runs deep.

Before picking up a rugby ball, Mady competed at the highest levels in both hockey and softball, travelling the world as a AAA athlete. From tennis courts to frozen rinks, she’s always chased competition, playing nearly every sport possible since she could walk.

Although rugby was introduced to her by her father as a baby, it wasn’t until just over two and a half years ago that she played her first match. Since then, the sport has become her home, something that connects her to her family, her roots, and her future.

Mady is known for her intensity and drive, always pushing herself to be better both on and off the pitch. Whether she’s at training or walking down the street, she’s creating mental challenges to stay sharp and perform at her peak.

An interesting fact about Mady: she’s ambidextrous, and can switch between left and right-handed play in multiple sports without hesitation, an edge that’s caught many opponents off guard. She may look like someone who can't hit, but don't fool yourself.

Now part of the London Irish family, Mady is excited to continue her growth in the game she loves, surrounded by like-minded athletes and coaches who share her hunger for greatness. Mady's 3-year goal is to become a better rugby athlete on and off the pitch and work to her compete maximum to have the best opportunities within her new club, London Irish and possibly open doors to the PWR.
