Biography
Meet Millie Dine – a passionate and dynamic international 7s rugby player who has been competing on the circuit for the past four years. Millie has represented a number of notable charity teams, including Boom Beavers, LooseHeads, and Legion 7s. Her standout performances earned her a spot with Brazil 7s for the 2024/25 season, where she now holds a partial contract continuing into this year.
After an injury early in her 15s career following her First Ladies season, Millie stepped back—but now she’s making a full return. Committed to reigniting her 15s journey, she joins the Emeralds this upcoming season, bringing with her the professionalism, resilience, and experience needed to make a strong impact on the squad.
In addition to playing, Millie is also a dedicated coach. She has served as the backs coach for both the men’s and women’s teams at the University of Portsmouth, contributing to two promotions on the men’s side—a testament to her leadership and tactical insight.
Fun fact: Before rugby, Millie competed in show jumping at a high level, riding on the British circuit until the age of 19.
